Jesus Loves You

Jesus loves you.
There are hard things
That have hurt you.
These things hurt Jesus too.
He Loves with an Everlasting Love,
And it is aimed at you.
He will take that hard thing,
So you will not have to swing it anymore.
And it falls away,
dropped like a bat after a line drive.
But we don’t have to run the bases.
We’re home.
And we won.
And we’re going for ice cream.
